25 years! We knew the timeline, but not the struggle behind it; we knew the milestone, but not the “Why not we try this?” behind it. 

Our Silver Jubilee Celebration with the Sundaram Parivar didn’t just feel like a reunion of leaders who travelled with SBS for 25 years, but felt like a reunion of people “who built SBS brick by brick”, “who decided we’ll do it, instead of playing safe”, “who didn’t feel we were wasting our time and resources”, “who were the foundation for what we are today and what we will be in the future”.

The people who built our foundation, shaped our journey and inspired us to keep moving forward: the esteemed board of directors, erstwhile CEOs, CFO, and the Managing Directors of our group companies honoured us with their esteemed presence at our Silver Jubilee celebrations last week.

From the story of how our very first engagement with our client in Australia happened, and the 100% turnout of employees during the 2015 Chennai floods, to the values and wisdom on how to make our clients competitive in their market makes the real difference, the event witnessed unforgettable moments and inspiring words from our leaders.

Our CEO, Deepa Ramesh, expressed her gratitude to the leaders who laid the foundation, believed in the vision, and helped shape SBS along the way.

She also thanked her team for being a strong pillar of support in achieving the 25-year milestone and shared the initiatives taken to improve the organisation’s overall efficiency in the coming years.

Twenty-five years wouldn’t be complete without celebrating the people who have been with us along the way; our leaders presented awards to SBS’s top 25 longest-serving employees.
