Sundaram Business Services entered its 25th year of operations on September 1, 2026.

Where do we even start, given how wonderful the celebration was?!

White and blue were the colours of the day; our people wore thelm with so much confidence and professionalism.

It started like just another day, with employees tapping their ID cards, meetings with clients, and jobs running in the systems, but there were other things on everyone’s minds.

The questions of “what kind of celebration would happen, how my team would perform, will they like our karaoke, and are there any surprises planned for us?” were the ones most of us were occupied with.

“Celebrating the journey that shaped us” and “This milestone wouldn’t be possible without you” were the words that truly captured the reasons behind SBS’s 25 glorious years- yes, it was all about the journey and the people behind it.

Our CEO, Ms Deepa Ramesh, welcomed the gathering with her beautiful and inspiring words, and her 3 filters to success remain a secret that she shared only with the people of SBS.

“Limited resources, unlimited ambition, and our growth towards success made the dream of a remarkable 25 years come true!” said our CEO with pride.

As we cheered for the next 25 years, we wished each other to remain curious, bold and fearless, and ready to embrace what lies ahead.

The performances by organisers, our very own teams, and the final bit where the managers surprised everyone with their infectious dance moves were enough to make the gathering go crazy on the day.

With a variety of engaging musical and dance performances, the celebratory mood took over.

Our very own Anju Awal, the head of business development at SBS, expressed her gratitude to our parent company, Sundaram Finance, for all the freedom and support they give us; to our CEO for being the USP of SBS; to all the teams; and the organisers who made the event a great success.

Here are few moments that stayed with us and made the event more memorable- “An employee showing the celebrations to her father in a video call, a manager thanking their team for being the support system, our people proudly wearing the SBS badge, the teams capturing photos in the booth with funky accessories, the crowd cheering for their favourite dancer, and the satisfaction that was seen at everyone’s faces, collectively meaning “we did it”.
