Giving back on the occasion of “25 years of SBS”
Small Acts, Meaningful Change
Sundaram Business Services has been involved in various community-related activities in past years.
And we haven’t featured them because we believe that helping someone goes beyond words or pictures.
But we thought, what if our small act of kindness can inspire others to help as well?
Here we are, sharing some of the activities we carried out to mark our 25th year in business.
Make-A-Wish
Our team visited a Children’s home in Chennai and learned about the innocent, genuine wishes of those young hearts.
When we received the wish list from the kids, it wasn’t about which team or vertical contributed more, but rather that our employees made the contributions together, wholeheartedly.
While those small and simple wishes brought smiles, it also reminded us how much these children long for someone to turn those small wishes into moments of happiness.
We were grateful to be there this time, hoping to support these children in every way we can and be part of their journey as they grow into confident and wonderful individuals.
Canopy Collective - Many trees, one purpose!
In a metropolitan city like Chennai, we’ve lost more greenery due to swift urban and infrastructure development.
Our office is located close to one of Chennai’s most important marshlands, Pallikaranai.
We planted around 25 saplings around our campus, marking the 25-year journey of SBS.
With a small step towards adding more greenery, we hope these trees will grow into a small but meaningful contribution towards a healthier environment.
At Sundaram, we hope to be part of many more such initiatives, contributing in our own little way and finding meaning in every positive change, however small or big.
