Our Values

Values are just words if they are not embraced in day to day activities. At Sundaram, we embody each of our 12 core values – “Service, Discipline, Prudence, Fair play, Openness, Honesty, Integrity, Humility & Relationships” in all our engagements with our clients.

We believe that Values should promote a culture of extraordinary customer service by happy, motivated and productive people. We anchor and relate the values expressed to real-world problems by encouraging our staff to identify examples where there is a gap in the value system. Values alignment, and ownership by way of prioritized action plans, and departmental goals are demonstrated through our continuous “values development process”. We take pride in articulating the shared workplace values and ensure its significance is tightly embedded in the expected key result areas of all our workforce, be it junior associates or our people at the helm of affairs. Our values driven and informed workforce, hence interact with customers from a deeper level of ownership. Going beyond the contractual agreement, crisis management and making sure our clients meet their promises to their stakeholders are a way of life at SBS and this awareness creates an environment of proactive decision making and interpersonal trust with the clients. This ecosystem of trust is the defining factor in the relationships we build with our clients.

The Sundaram group embraces a philosophy that combines growth, quality and profitability and remains rooted in its founding philosophy of the company – “everything begins with the customer”. We are deeply cognizant of the fact that we are not merely a business process provider, but more importantly the custodians of the faith that our clients place in us, as their trusted partner. While we are deeply rooted in our values and proud of our heritage, we are also constantly innovating in terms of technology and processes to deliver the unique Sundaram Experience.
