Now, however, the scope of a CFO has extended far beyond this and they are expected to don a number of hats. From charting out a business plan to tracking its progress and managing the many variables that can impact it, modern-day CFOs have more strategy-oriented roles. But with the expanding role of a CFO today, there also come a number of challenges.
